About

By trade, I’m a historian of early modern Britain and a digital historian, and I’ve been project manager/researcher on many digital history projects.

I like playing with historical datasets, wrangling messy data and writing code, mostly R. This blog is a playground and a resource, where I want to bring together digital history and data science while working on better code. I’m working on getting better at Javascript for interactive visualisations.
